Keith Brown, Chair

Keith Brown is the owner, founder and president of Trailtech Inc, which manufactures light commercial and industrial flat deck trailers. Trailtech trailers are marketed in Western Canada, Ontario and 20 states in the United States. Trailtech employs 115 people in Gravelbourg, Sask. Brown is a managing partner of National Trailer Parts Warehouse Limited. He had a key role in starting up other businesses including Argo Trailer Corp., Kimelnia Marketing Ltd. and Montgomery Brown Group Inc. He also owns and operates a 2240 acre grain farm in Gravelbourg Saskatchewan. Keith is past Chair of the Board of Directors of the Saskatchewan Trade & Export Partnership (STEP). He has served on the Investment Review Committee of Prairie Ventures Fund and FCC Ventures. He is presently on the Investment Committee of Lex Capital Corp.

Garnette Weber, Vice Chair

Garnette Weber is the co-founder and vice president of Itracks. Itracks produces patented web technology for online data collection, and its primary operations in online data collection employs 52 full time staff. It also operates a 70-seat, web enabled call center that employs 50 full time equivalent positions.

Sonja Dahlman

Sonja Dahlman is an independent consultant and contractor in Assiniboia. She was formerly the Economic Development Officer for the Assiniboia Economic Development Authority Inc. Ms. Dahlman acts as Treasurer for the Assiniboia & District Chamber of Commerce and secretary-treasurer for the Red Coat Regional Economic Development Authority. She is a member of the Regional Economic Development Authorities Working Group for the Department of Rural Development and of the Action Southwest Steering Committee and was formerly president of the Saskatchewan Economic Developers Association (SEDA).

Bryan Dilling

Bryan Dilling sits as an ex-officio member of the board, representing the Government of Saskatchewan, and is currently Manager, Strategic Issues for Enterprise Saskatchewan. His areas of responsibility include monitoring and reporting on Saskatchewan's competitiveness across a wide range of socio-economic indicators, as well as developing policies and programs to improve the province's attractiveness as a location for investment. Prior to working in economic development, Bryan held a number of positions in manufacturing industries, most recently as production manager for a manufacturer of recreational equipment.

Doug Kosloski

Doug Kosloski is Vice-President and General Council at Crown Investments Corporation (CIC). Mr. Kosloski was born in Edmonton, Alberta and raised in Saskatchewan. Mr. Kosloski obtained his B.A. (Economics) from the University of Regina and his B. Comm. (Finance) and LL.B from the University of Saskatchewan. He was called to the Saskatchewan Bar in 1994. Mr. Kosloski joined CIC in 1998 as legal counsel and was appointed as CIC’s General Counsel and Corporate Secretary in 1999. In 2007 he was appointed as Vice President of Economic Initiatives Division at CIC while still retaining his General Counsel duties. He is a member of CIC’s senior executive and he provides advice to CIC’s board of directors and management on finance and human resource matters, and provides day-to-day guidance on corporate law, corporate governance and legislative matters. Mr. Kosloski sits on a number of boards and investment funds on behalf of CIC.

Sheri Lucas

Sheri Lucas is CFO/Executive Vice-President, Finance with Saskcentral. Sheri joined SaskCentral in 2007 as Manager, Strategic Investments and in early 2008 became the Associate Vice President of Finance. Sheri’s entire career has been in Saskatchewan. She obtained a Bachelor of Commerce Degree from the University of Saskatchewan in 1994 and a Chartered Accountant designation in 1997. Sheri has held various accounting and finance positions in Saskatchewan organizations, including Saskatchewan Wheat Pool (now Viterra) and Crown Investments Corporation of Saskatchewan.

Glen Schuler

Glen Schuler has been the Managing Director of the University of Saskatchewan Industry Liaison Office since December 2008.  Prior to this, in 2000 Glen joined  the Economics Faculty and was the Director of the MBA Program for the University of Tennessee. During this time he globalized the MBA program, reinitiated the entrepreneurship concentration and helped develop a relationship with the local incubator whereby teams of MBA students assisted scientists commercialize new technologies.  He also worked in private industry for 20 years with Tenneco and Columbia Natural Gas where he served in various senior-level positions.   He has also taught economics and did energy-related research at the Universities of Houston and Tennessee. He earned his undergraduate degree in economics from the University of Wisconsin and Masters and PhD in economics from the University of Houston.
