The Foundation’s goal is to create a network of entrepreneurs, professionals, advisors, corporate organizations and non-profit support agencies through a membership structure. The objective is to develop a network of individuals that believe in the entrepreneurial spirit of Saskatchewan people. Members are not only providing a positive atmosphere for entrepreneurs; they are helping entrepreneurs improve their skills and improve their access to venture capital investment that is needed to grow their business.

  • Access to EFS Services and Team: Members will have complete access to the expertise of the Entrepreneurial Foundation team of experienced management and business analysts.  Members also benefit by gaining access to EFS Networking Opportunities among entrepreneurs and supporting agencies; Members can link to potential business partners, special advisors, professionals such as lawyers and accountants through EFS’s Referral Network; and Members have access to EFS Entrepreneurial Resources for a wide range of information available that is relevant to all members at various stages of business development.

  • EFS Newsletter: Members will receive a quarterly EFS newsletter “The Venture Catalyst”. This will include feature articles on various entrepreneurial issues as well as upcoming events, seminars and training, recent company activities, interesting news releases and other business news that may be of interest to members.  Ask us about being featured in our next news letter.

 

  • Education, Coaching and Mentorship: Most entrepreneurs looking to start a business are doing so for the first time. Preparation through education and guidance can play a key role in helping first time entrepreneurs through the business development process. The Foundation will work to develop and elevate the knowledge and practices of the entrepreneur.

 

  • Access to Facilities and Support: EFS supports meetings, events or other activities that its members require from time-to-time. This includes the ability to reserve EFS’s boardroom for meetings, having EFS staff out for presentations, or even sponsorship of local events or conferences.

 

  • Voting Rights: Members have a direct say in the path of the Entrepreneurial Foundation through the ability to elect board members. This will ensure the Foundation is held responsible to its members and entrepreneurs in Saskatchewan.

 

  • Member Discounts: Training courses, seminars and networking events put on by EFS will be available at a discounted price for all members.
